Mayekawa Philippines Corporation (MPH) successfully participated in Livestock Philippines and Aquaculture Philippines 2026, held from June 24 to 26, 2026, at the World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM). This marks the company's third consecutive year of participation in one of the Philippines' largest and most influential livestock industry exhibitions.
The exhibition served as an excellent platform to strengthen Mayekawa's brand presence in the Philippine poultry sector, introduce advanced poultry processing technologies, and establish meaningful business connections with existing and prospective customers.
Throughout the three-day event, MPH successfully demonstrated Mayekawa's commitment to automation and innovation by showcasing the TORIDAS SE Automated Whole Leg Deboning Machine together with the Gizzard Opener System. The live demonstrations attracted significant attention from poultry processors, integrators, contractors, and food manufacturers seeking productivity improvements and labor-saving solutions.
Using the LeadGrab digital registration system, MPH generated 150 qualified customer leads, creating valuable opportunities for future sales development and long-term business relationships.
The exhibition attracted a large number of visitors from various sectors of the livestock and poultry industry, providing an excellent opportunity for Mayekawa Philippines to present its latest processing technologies.
The live demonstration of the TORIDAS SE was the primary attraction at the MPH booth. Visitors witnessed the automated deboning process of chicken whole legs, demonstrating the machine's capability to improve processing efficiency, product consistency, labor productivity, and yield.
In addition, MPH introduced the Gizzard Opener, an automated machine designed to incise and open chicken gizzards for efficient cleaning. The demonstration also featured the auxiliary skinner, which further reduces manual work during the finishing process.
The continuous flow of visitors throughout the exhibition, including the final day, reflected the growing interest of the Philippine poultry industry in automation technologies. Many customers expressed strong interest in robotic processing systems as they seek solutions to labor shortages, higher operating costs, and increasing production requirements.
The exhibition successfully reinforced Mayekawa's position as a trusted provider of advanced refrigeration systems and poultry processing technologies.

As of 31 March 2026, the country's total chicken inventory reached 224.96 million birds, representing a 1.6% increase compared with the same period in 2025.
Layer chicken and broiler inventories increased by 12.2% and 2.4%, respectively, indicating continued expansion of commercial poultry production.
The national laying flock likewise increased to 79.98 million birds, reflecting sustained investment in poultry production capacity.
Seasonally adjusted chicken production for the first quarter of 2026 reached 586.52 thousand metric tons (liveweight), showing continued stability despite market challenges.
Meanwhile, strong domestic consumption continues to support industry growth. The expansion of quick service restaurants, food chains, supermarkets, and food processing companies continues to increase demand for poultry products throughout the country.
The Philippine market therefore presents favorable long-term opportunities for advanced poultry processing technologies and industrial refrigeration systems.
