Mayekawa has been manufacturing heat pumps for large-size air conditioning since 1971,
well in advance of our competitors. Our heat pumps are utilized in various places that
require air conditioning, such as office buildings, factories, museums, public facilities,
and aircraft. Effectively utilizing exhaust heat and renewable energy, such as heat in the
air and water, our heat pump technology is well suited to a time that is emphasizing environmental
consideration and energy saving, allowing us to propose optimal systems that meet client's needs.
Supplying 90℃(194℉) waterunimo AW/WW/AWW - CO2 heat pumps
unimo AWW
unimo can supply hot water in a highly efficient manner by proficiently
using heat in the air and water. This heat pump uses a natural refrigerant,
CO2, and the lineup consists of three models: AW, which utilizes
an air heat source, WW, which utilizes a water heat source, and AWW, which
utilizes both air and water heat sources. Each model can instantly deliver
water at 90℃(194℉), and supply plenty of hot water with overwhelming cost
performance. The model using water as a heat source is a CO2 heat pump combining
hot water boiler and chiller functions in one package. In addition to plenty of
hot water supply capacity, it can be used as only heat pumps with water as the
heat source can, providing double the merit.
Additionally, the lineup includes a CO2 heat pump that realizes a cold and hot
water supply utilizing both air and water as the heat source, a world first.
Using the thermal energy of water, this unit can supply cold and hot water
simultaneously when air conditioning and process cooling are required during
the daytime and summer months. At night and during the winter, when cold water
is not normally used, it can produce hot water alone using the thermal energy
of air.

Supplying 120℃(248℉) airEcosirocco -CO2 heat pump air heater
Ecosirocco
The first heat pump air heater in the world to provide high-temperature heating,
up to a maximum of 120℃(248℉) , using CO2 as a refrigerant. It utilizes renewable
energy such as cold water, exhaust heat, and well water for process cooling. This is
a revolutionary heat pump that can supply hot air needed for drying and heating with
overwhelming energy and cost savings, while also contributing to the reduction of CO2
emissions.
Hot air is supplied without the use of combustion devices such as burners and boilers.
Furthermore, the cold water generated simultaneously with the hot air can be used for
air conditioning and process cooling, and units can be linked to meet capacity requirements.
When hot air in excess of 120℃(248℉) is needed, combining this unit with other heating sources
(electric motors, steam, etc.) results in the desired effectiveness.

Supplying glycol in the 10 to 15℃ (50 to 59℉)Snow melting heat pumps
air heat source model
water heat source model
Pipes are buried in roads and sidewalks. Glycol is then heated to about 15℃ (59℉)
with a heat pump and is sent along the pipes to warm the road surface which prevents
it from freezing and keeps it dry.
For the heat pump heat source, it is possible to use various renewable energy sources,
such as readily available air, groundwater, geothermal energy, lake water, and seawater.
Reduced fossil fuel use and CO2 emissions with this heat pump line-up.

Mayekawa offers a range of ammonia heat pumps offering high quality hot water up to 85℃(185℉).
Available as reciprocating and screw compressor packages these units can act as standalone units
using a waste water or geothermal heat source. They can also be integrated into an existing refrigeration
system as a heat recovery application.

Supplying air in the -3 to 80℃ (27 to 176℉) rangeGround cooler - mobile air conditioner for aircrafts
Ground cooler
Supply cold and warm air ranging from 0 to 50℃ (32 to 122℉) to parked aircraft
with this cooler. For aircraft maintenance, the engines are turned off, and this
cooler will supply cold and warm air as a piece of ground support equipment (GSE).
The cooler can also be used as a power generator and source of power for commercial
purposes and is self-powered, meaning it can provide cold and hot air in a wide range
of places. In addition to being used with aircraft, it can also serve as a mobile air
conditioning unit during disasters, etc.

Seperate heat pump for air conditioning
Seperate heat pump for air conditioning
Take advantage of the features of a heat pump that uses a screw compressor
capable of handling a wide range of compression ratios. This unit allows for
smooth switching between three modes: cooling, heating, and heat recovery
(simultaneous extraction of cold and heat energy). It also contributes to
energy saving by using various heat sources such as waste heat and renewable
energy such as air, water, and geothermal heat. As a demand measure, it also
supports ice thermal storage and can be used for a wide range of air conditioning
applications.
Additionally, as the separate heat pump model allows the air heat exchanger and the
compressor to be placed in different locations, it can be installed in small spaces.
Together with thermal energy storage units it is used for central air conditioning in
office buildings and public facilities, and it will support your air conditioning system upgrades.
